Our ability to understand public and commercial markets has lead to ikon’s appointment to advise on structuring partnerships to effectively deliver bringing benefits to all parties. Our expertise has been utilised by several local authority partners who are keen to explore the potential to release land in public ownership work alongside private sector partners. Our work has centred on developing the business case in each area focussing closely on the council’s wider regeneration objectives, including financial modelling work. In addition, we are working with a number of local authority and housing association partners on a wider range of joint venture structures, and direct delivery approaches again suitable to deliver widescale regeneration and additional housing delivery. We bring expertise, commercial flair, and a solid understanding of risk and affordable housing funding and design requirements, and we make these attributes work hard for our clients.
