ikon is project managing the largest London-wide initiative project as part of a consortia, comprising Countryside Properties plc, Metropolitan, and Hyde. The project is in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and will deliver more than 600 homes within a new high-quality mixed and sustainable community. ikon’s role includes full financial assessment of the project, ensuring the project meets HCA and client standards and to ensure that all risks associated with the project are identified and mitigated. The project, with ikon’s support, has secured subsidy and will commence in early-2010.

This commission includes taking forward all aspects of the project working closely with a range of project partners and reporting regularly to the client. Specific roles include full involvement in the negotiation of the Development Agreement with HCA, and attending project team meetings ensuring that the design team is fully aware of our clients’ requirements.

On site, ikon’s role will be to deliver the project on behalf of the clients on budget, on time and to the required standard of quality.
